City ready for Shots

CITY are expecting a tough game against Aldershot at Clarence Park tomorrow (Saturday).

"I saw Aldershot in pre-season and I thought they were excellent," remarked Lippiatt.

"They are a very, very good side with big expectations. It's going to be a difficult game for us."

City could have an advantage though, should the crowd be as vocal as they were against Cambridge on Tuesday night.

"What an atmosphere," commented Lippiatt. "The reception we got was excellent for both games.

"The Cambridge game was a great game to watch. There was some great attacking play, some great passing it really was a credit to non-league football.

"It was tremendous to see so many people get behind is and we are really going to need that this year. We need that level of support all the time."
