THE waste disposal operation at the yard in Knockholt Station, is set to expand to accommodate growing business.
The owner of the waste transfer station, BSP (Knockholt) Ltd, has lodged an application to expand the Sevenoaks Road site.
At present, the 1,000sq metre site is barren.
But, if the application is approved, the site will grow to 1,680sq metres to house two waste bays, skip storage space, a loading platform and lorry turning space.
The site will only be used to take general building rubbish from skips before taking it on to landfill sites.
The application will need to get the all-clear from the Environment Agency, Highways Agency and Bromley's environmental services, before it goes through.
