AN ambulance attending an emergency call collided with a fast response paramedic car in a busy St Albans street.
The ambulance is believed to have been travelling along London Road towards the city centre on Wednesday when it collided with the fast response car near the junction with Watson's Walk just after 2pm.
No one was injured in the smash, which happened as the ambulance was en route to an emergency at a private address.
Gary Sanderson, spokesman for the East of England Ambulance and Paramedic NHS Trust, said: "There was already another ambulance at the address so the person was looked after as normal.
"Luckily no-one was injured in the accident and we're currently investigating what caused the vehicles to collide."
