Two St Albans girls helped fire Bedwell Rangers to the final of a national tournament.
Megan Wynne and Josie Green were part of the Stevenage-based side who were recently crowned Southern winners of the National Under-16 tournament. They will take on representatives form the north, west and midlands regions in the climax of the event at the Walkers Stadium Leicester.
Wynne was voted Player of the Tournament in the last regional round that saw Bedwell record victories over Essex, Sussex and Surrey.
Former Newcastle defender Warren Barton was on hand to present the awards.
