Gibson: We have a top-six side
A rejuvenated St Albans City FC side face Thurrock this afternoon and City chairman John Gibson believes the team Steve Castle fields is in a false position.
"The team that turns out on Saturday are worthy of a top six place in the league," said Gibson.
"In (Wasiu) Sunday and Hakim we have two of the best strikers in the league while Lee Clarke is enjoying a new lease of life playing just behind them.
"There's no doubt with the strikers we now have we will score goals."
Added Gibson: "I now believe that when we take to the pitch the opponents don't see us as cannon fodder any more - they know they are going to be in for a game. But we've got to keep going and stay clear of injuries and suspensions. The discipline is better than its been all season and that is down to Steve."
